gerade komme ich zurück von einer 3wöchigen Thailand Reise, Ich war im Süden des Landes, auf der Insel Phuket. Dialysiert habe ich im Bangkok Hospital Phuket, eine erstklassige Adresse. In Allem 100 % ebenbürtig zu einer guten deutschen Klinik. Preis pro Dialyse: 230 €; nach jeder Dialyse sofort zu bezahlen (VISA oder andere Kreditkarte).

Wir hatten einen Mietwagen (35 €/Tag) und sind durchs Land gefahren. Die Orientierung klappt hervorragend mit einem (neueren) Garmin Navi, wenn man eine Thailand Software aufspielt (Im Internet herunterladen, ca. 20 € - am besten auf einen Micro Chip, der hinten im Navi eingesteckt wird).

tolle Fotos. Ich bin noch nie geflogen. Jetzt, wo ich dieses Bild mit dem vollbesetzten Flugzeug gesehen habe, wird das mit meiner Klaustrophobie wohl auch so bleiben. Ein Horror für jemanden wie mich! :D

Edit: Und was hat es mit dem Cannabis Shop auf sich? Ich dachte Thailand hat eine sehr strenge Drogenpolitik. Oder verkaufen die da Produkte, die nicht high machen?

ich bin absolut neu in der Materie und laufe Gefahr auch in eine Dialyse zu rutschen. Es steht nun ein lang geplanter mehrmonatiger Aufenthalt in Khao Lak (Nähe Phuket) an.
Hierzu hätte ich ein paar Fragen an Dich, der damit schon Erfahrung sammeln konnte.

Bangkok Hospital kenn ich zu gut, weil ich 2019 dort schonmal einliegen musste. Ein Top Hospital.
Aber wie läuft das dort mit der Dialyse logistisch ab?

Wie bekomm ich einen Termin?
Wie lange Vorlaufzeit?
Wie läuft das mit der Abrechnung?
Erstmal Vorkasse, aber übernimmt im Nachgang die gesetzliche zumindest einen Teil der Kosten?
(Da habe ich nur eine mündliche wage Zusage einer KV Mitarbeiterin am Telefon bekommen)
Was muss ich sonst noch wissen?

Die Dame in charge hieß Ms Rungtiwa Guru, möglicherweise ist sie heute noch aktiv. Es ist alles sehr unkompliziert, es werden einige Dokumente verlangt, die habe ich per Mail-Anhang hingeschickt, Antwort kam prompt und alles war gesettlet.

Meine Dialysetermine waren stets ab 16 Uhr, bezahlt wurde unmittelbar danach beim Rausgehen an der Kasse (VISA). Du bekommst gleich die Rechnung ausgehändigt.
Eine Dialyse hat 240 € gekostet, wieviel deine Kasse davon trägt, weiß ich nicht (bin privat versichert), da solltest du mal nachfragen.

Meine Anfrage war am 9. November, der Dialysebeginnn dann am 17. Januar. Also etwa 7 Wochen. Falls du Interesse hast, ich habe noch eine Sim Card von Thailand (muss nur noch aktiviert werden) und eine Micro-Sd, die du in ein Garmin Navi hinten stecken kannst, da ist dann ganz Thailand drauf.

ich hab in der Zwischenzeit auch Rückmeldung vom Bangkok Hospital bekommen.
Hilfreich ist schonmal ein Name einer Ansprechperson.
Kannst ungefähr dich noch erinnern, was die im Vorfeld für Unterlagen wollen?

Ich hab nur 2 Probleme:
- Noch brauche ich keine Dialyse Termine (NOCH!!!) > ist eher das worst case Szenario
- und ich reise schon am 12. November in Phuket an, ergo wäre ne enge Geschichte

Danke für das Angebot der Thai Sim Karte, aber nachdem ich mehrmal im Jahr in Thailand bin und es geschäftlich auch brauche,
lass ich immer meine Telekom Karte aufbohren. Ist zwar nicht ganz billig, aber funktioniert seit Jahren wunderbar und ist absetzbar

2. Please take note that for dialysate Calcium at our hospital, we don't have 1.5mmol/L, but have calcium 2.5 mEq/L. Is it ok for you?
3. Will you bring Ferrlecit 62.5 mg by yourself as we do not have it in our hospital.
4. Please comfirm if Dialysate flow is 300 cc/min?
